A 5-star interior by Lema

When it comes to decorating hotel interiors, Lema offers exclusive tailor-made solutions. Since 1969 they have been making furniture to meet the most demanding requirements, both technical and stylistic. Case in point is the new project on the photo: the exclusive 5-star Great Scotland Yard Hotel in London. Located in St James's, a stone's throw from Westminster, it is the first English hotel to be part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt. It also occupies a unique historic building: in the past it was the headquarters of the Metropolitan Police in London.
The hotel occupies 7 floors and offers a wonderful journey through time. The elegant stylistic details - shields, emblems in glass and metal - remind visitors of the legendary past. In addition there is a gourmet restaurant, a "secret" whisky bar (1920s prohibition era heritage), library, gym, cocktail bar, Palm Court style lounge, ballroom and tea room.
All 153 rooms of the hotel are furnished by Italian brand Lema Contract, with all the furniture custom-made: designed, developed and installed by the factory's craftsmen. Of particular note are custom-made cabinets, TV niches and wooden bathroom furniture, which stylistically echo the doors of the bedrooms and corridors.
