The furniture brand Midj, which specialises in chairs and stools, offers an alternative option for the home office or the co-working space. In collaboration with Studio Pastina, the factory has developed the Area collection, which reflects the evolution of life and is capable of creating a collaborative atmosphere in contemporary workspaces. The line is composed by 3 pieces: an armchair and a sofa, with or without armrests, and an ottoman from one or two modules.
The collection is characterised by soft lines and an obvious lack of supporting structure. The thin metal structure in the base creates a sharp visual contrast to the voluminous cushions. The latter underscore the lightness of the collection to such an extent that each element seems to float freely in the air. The smooth curves, soft enveloping forms, and relaxed simplicity of the design all make the seats cosy and welcoming, suitable for both the contract and residential sectors. Area is a dynamic solution midway between the workplace and the seating area.
An ottoman can also be used in the bedroom. It will add a highlight to the interior and become a convenient storage space for clothes and accessories.
