iSaloni-2021: New products and trends at the upcoming exhibition
Jun 24, 2021
A season premiere for you. Italian brands are actively preparing for the upcoming iSaloni exhibition and developing unusual interior collections. What's in store for us in September? Today!
1. The portal between worlds

Lualdi Ying interior doors reflect Steve Leung's cosmopolitan vision. The architect (based in Hong Kong) thought of the new doors as a connection between cultures: a tribute to Italian and Chinese hospitality. The ideogram Ying means 'Welcome'. These doors combine memories of oriental abodes, reinterpreted through the geometric inlay 'sŭn măo'.
2. infinite finishes
Rimadesio's trademark modular storage systems have evolved and become increasingly sophisticated. The result of a design collaboration between the company and the architect Giuseppe Bavuso, the new Modulor storage system has been born. Experience the benefits: 158 possible door finishes, including an unprecedented finish in diamond glass (pictured): a slightly jagged, pleasant to the touch texture.

3. Circles on the water
To celebrate the first thirty years of the Reflex brand of crystal furniture, Luciano and Riccardo Lucatello have created the Murano table in solid glass. The hourglass shape also recreates the contours of hills, while the texture recalls the movement of circles on water, going from grey to blue. The model is available in a limited edition.

4. Live wood
Designed by Patrick-Juan on a marble base, the Leaf range of coffee tables grows. A distinctive feature of the collection is the combination of different wood finishes. It is produced in the Italian factory Porada.

5. Versatile flexibility
A chair is always a great challenge for the designer. Matteo Zorzenoni designed the Navy Tub chair for the Venetian brand Novamobili. The model with its soft enveloping seat becomes the protagonist of a time when decor strives for flexibility.

6. In plain sight
The sideboard and display cabinet from the Pinnacle collection was designed for Italian brand Turri by designer Huang Quan. At the same time, it's a quirky display case for displaying collectibles. The side panels are upholstered in leather.

7. Gentleman's set.
A continuous, flexible line forms a soft, cosy seat. The Le Club armchair was designed for the Italian factory Poliform by designer Jean-Marie Massaud. The model is a combination of traditional craftsmanship and technological avant-garde. It is inspired by a gentlemen's club chair that is reinterpreted in a modern way. Optional upholstery in fabric or leather is available.

8. The complete solution
The evolution of the sofa from the Italian factory Visionnaire is the Douglas model designed by Alessandro la Spada. The furnished seating area includes upholstered modules, a console and a coffee table.

9. Retrocomfort
Fashion brands Moroso & Diesel expand their furniture collection with Overdyed padded chairs. In addition to the vintage flair and steel core structure, there are two upholstery options: leather for the industrial look and fabric for a cosy effect.

10. Handmade
Every detail of the Tessa armchair from Flexform demonstrates the complexity behind the apparent simplicity, which is itself the result of hard work, ingenuity and capable hands. The frame is handcrafted from polished mahogany. The leather back is embroidered. Designed by Antonio Citterio.

11: Interpreting the classics
For Maxalto, Antonio Citterio designs the Heritage Perspectives collection. This is a modern secretarial workstation. The classic is reinterpreted through innovative finishes such as natural wenge wood.

12. Two sides of the coin
New times dictate multi-tasking. For example, the Mi sideboard designed for Poltrona Frau by the duo Neri & Hu offers an unconventional solution to furniture. The Chinese name itself carries a double message: 'search' and 'secret'. The model is made of heterogeneous materials that conceal and reveal each other at the same time.
