Kitchen of the week: Arrex Loft Wood

May 29, 2018

The absolute novelty of 2018 from the Italian factory Arrex Le Cucine is a loft style kitchen made of natural oak - the Loft Wood model.

As you know, the loft style was born in the 1940s in New York, when former industrial premises were actively transformed into offices, galleries and residential buildings. At the time it was one of the few opportunities available to own a home. However, the idea quickly gained popularity, and little by little the entire bohemian crowd flows into the lofts, the life of aristocratic New York concentrates here.

Today, a unique industrial flair can be added to any room, including the kitchen. At the biennale Eurocucina, the renowned Italian kitchen manufacturer Arrex is presenting several pieces of furniture in this style. Each of these novelties would be perfect for a modern studio flat and would be a perfect contrast to ultra-modern high-tech furniture.

A distinctive feature is the combination of traditional materials (such as solid oak for the fronts, Soul Calacatta quartz for the kitchen island) and modern textures (in this case laminate with a cement effect and Soft-Touch surface).

Loft Wood is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for home comfort. Rough wood textures go hand in hand with smooth, but slightly sloppy finishes. Add modern appliances, open-plan communication and lots of light, and you have a very special but comfortable space with lots of clever combinations.

The loft style kitchen is a mixture of styles and influences. This set will be appreciated by creative people, who want to express their inner self.
