Kitchen of the week: Minacciolo Natural Skin

Aug 23, 2017

A new project involving the Italian factory Minacciolo has taken place in a prestigious area of London. Clitheroe Road has taken pride of place amongst the trendy bars and restaurants that have filled Clapham High Street. The luxurious early twentieth-century Victorian mansion was acquired at auction and given a new lease of life following a restoration led by London-based CLPD Investmentindesign. The 170m² space has been completely modernised into three exquisite flats on separate floors.

Each of the three apartments showcases the kitchens of Italian brand Minacciolo - a unique mix of Minà and Natural Skin collections. On the ground floor there is a black Minà island with a Cocciopesto tiled worktop. The composition is completed by the Natural Skin kitchen, made of steel and heat-treated wood. Technical and functional, yet artistic and warm, the space is the result of the work of Italian craftsmen.

The protagonist of the second and third floors is again the Natural Skin model, with the oak finish for the base and columns, and the Fenix finish for the island. The space has been thought out down to the last detail, here every component has been carefully selected and composed to bring the culinary prowess of the owners to professional heights.
