Poliform: A brand story in the language of photography
Nov 22, 2020
The Italian brand Poliform is half a century old and to mark the occasion, the company has prepared an exclusive gift for connoisseurs. The book Time, Light, Space is not just a catalogue, but a powerful narrative through the universal language of photography, an immersion in the history of the brand. Thus, thanks to the intuition of cousins Giovanni Anzani, Aldo and Alberto Spinelli, a small family company was born in 1970. The company has rapidly evolved from a craftsman's enterprise to become a benchmark for modern furnishings and is now represented in 85 countries (with 80 mono-brand showrooms and 750 dealers).
The publication Time, Light, Space was produced by the famous Italian photographer Paolo Roversi. The title cites time, light and space as the building blocks for photography and design in general. What Paolo Roversi and Poliform have in common is a desire for absolute synthesis and radical simplicity in a constant reinvention of life.
The published photos condense the first 50 years of Poliform: in search and challenge, experimentation and innovation. But there are also links in the images presented, such as a passion for work, a respect for quality and a dedication to excellence.
