Pedrali's stylistic eclecticism

Jun 23, 2021

The Italian brand Pedrali has created the interiors of the Leon's Place boutique hotel in Rome in an original way. The distinctive personality, luxurious details, elegant interstyle eclecticism, contrasts between classic and contemporary trends - this project has everything to appeal to guests from all over the world. The hotel itself is located in the centre of Rome and was born in the context of the restoration of the ancient Palazzo Fabi Altini. An atmosphere of memories floats within these well-maintained but informal walls, abounding in colour, yet without excessive contrasts.

A hand-painted "garden" decorated with Pedrali objects stands out among all the rooms. The interior in pastel pink tones is perfect for having a drink on hot summer days or having a coffee break, literally above the clouds. Made from steel and woven cord, the Tribeca collection is a modern interpretation of classic patio chairs in the style of the 1960s. The chairs harmonise with the neutral tones of the Ikon tables (designed by Pio and Tito Toso), whose conical base is made of polypropylene.

The lighting play of the Giravolta wireless lamps, present here in mint green, adds to the charm of the setting. The model is a rechargeable cordless lamp in a modern design. It is complemented by an LED diffuser, which rotates 360° and directs the light. An optional magnet is available for attaching the lamp to metal surfaces, even the wall.

At breakfast, the guests meet in a room with a beautiful vaulted ceiling. The protagonists of this refined interior are once again Pedrali furniture: the Jazz armchairs combining orange velvet with an antique brass structure, the Inox tables with a practical and functional design and the Modus upholstered modular furniture. The latter is presented here in green velvet - in chromatic continuity with the picturesque plant fresco.
