BAXTER Rarity Shop at iSaloni

May 4, 2018

On the occasion of the Milan Furniture Show, the Italian manufacturer of premium furniture Baxter is offering an impressive new exposition. "Babylonian pandemonium" is how the factory itself describes the mix of styles, materials and shapes announced at iSaloni. Creative research continues not only in the active mixing of smooth and rough surfaces, but also in the new trend of three bands of different materials for the same product. The manufacturer also introduces ancient stones from rare mineral deposits; their extraordinarily expressive colours play even brighter against the smooth lacquered surfaces and create unusual contrasts of light. The manufacturer stays true to its passion and compiles the exposed 'kaleidoscope' in the already familiar colours of bordeaux green, coral and grey.

As for the designers involved in the project, on the one hand, the brand is cementing its historic collaboration with Paola Navone, Draga Obradovic & Aurel K. Basedow, Roberto Lazzeroni, Vincenzo De Cotiis, Pietro Russo, Antonino Sciortino; on the other hand, young designers are also joining the creative team. Studio Pepe, Federico Peri and Hagit Pincovici combine totally heterogeneous objects, giving rise to eclectic collections. The Baxter show is transformed into a shop of rarities, close to the world of craftsmanship and free of convention.

New Studio is a representative of the Italian factory Baxter in Belarus.
