Attention underfoot, sir! Premium brand SAHRAI Milano - now also in London

Premium Italian brand Sahrai, whose handmade rugs are known to connoisseurs the world over, is opening its flagship shop in London. The project was realised with the help of Marco Piva Studio. The showroom in the elegant Mayfair neighbourhood of Brook Street is becoming a must-visit for lovers of luxury interiors with a refined taste in home decorating.

The modern and sleek architecture is the perfect backdrop against which to foreground the brand's delightful wares. Famous collections such as Noor, Taj Mahal, Place Vendome, Dream Light are found here - iconic rugs expose visitors to the philosophy of the renowned brand. Each product is the result of a family tradition that dates back to 1830. The continuous journey in search of skilful weaving began in the bazaar of Tehran, continued in various Asian and Middle Eastern specialty ateliers, in Persia and the Caucasus. Soon the search for unique pieces and the comprehension of craft techniques allowed Sahrai to offer customers unique creations on the verge of art. The brand's first galleries were opened in Europe as early as the early 50s.

A deep knowledge of materials and expertise in weaving are the foundation of the research and development of new collections, but it is the exclusive design that has been the hallmark of the SAHRAI family for five generations. With these elements, tradition is alive and well in a modern context, while remaining within prestigious historical contexts.
