P47 is the new collection from Italian brand Midj

During Supersalone, Italian brand Midj presented its new P47 collection. It is by designer Franco Poli; and the name alone draws attention to the new line.

P47 is a collection with unique characteristics, a strong and decisive character. A new aesthetic is born from the desire to emphasise the identity of the materials. Metal, leather and fabrics intertwine to create an original design language and seemingly defeat the force of gravity.

The hand-crafted finish accentuates the suppleness of the natural Tuscan leather. The carving of the leather, combined with the painted stainless steel construction, creates a modern yet vintage-inspired imprint. Light shines through the tiny holes, becoming an integral part of the design, transforming and embellishing the setting and endowing it with an aesthetic value.

The leather is attached to the painted steel frame with visible rivets, made especially for the P47 line. This unprecedented solution gives the pieces a rock sound. The metallic black rivets accentuate the determined character of the collection, which is striking and mesmerising at first sight.

The collection includes stools and chairs, armchairs and sofas, as well as coffee tables.

The factory offers endless possibilities for personalisation, as always. For example, versions of stools with adjustable height and footrest or in an experimental colour scheme.
